Peering between palm trees we saw the lapping of the waves and heard the ocean. We fell asleep content that we would be swimming in the Pacific Ocean.

Introduction to Shirahama Beach
Castle in the Sky was interesting, pretty far off the beaten track, and a lot of fun; all in all though, we were ready for some more R-and-R. The rest and recovery included lazing around on the most beautiful beach I had ever seen, located in Shirahama.
